Greetings!
On behalf of Flatline Ultimate, welcome to Cal Poly Pomona and thank you for expressing interest in joining our organization!Last year, Flatline Ultimate’s competitive team advanced further than any team CPP has previously fielded, placing 10th in the Southwest Section. Of course, our organization is about much more than the competitions; it’s about all the people who come out for random pick-up games, and who make all of our events possible and help make our organization stronger from the ground up. We are excited that you have expressed interest in being a part of our future. Just as a reminder, the fall quarter will begin on Thursday September 18. We will schedule our first club meeting on Friday September 19; we will set a specific time and location as the date comes closer. We will be going over some very important information at this meeting; it is imperative to show up. If for any reason you are unable to attend the meeting, please let us know and we will forward any and all relevant information.
As of now, our current team meeting/practice times for Fall Quarter are set for Monday/Wednesday/Friday beginning at 3PM. The location is still TBD, as we are working to adjust our practice schedule so as not to interfere with ASI Rec Sports (they will be running an intramural football league in the fall and using the same field we practice on). We will keep you posted as more information comes our way. Check for updates right here on our website as the start of school gets closer.
If you’re in the Pomona area, we encourage you to get involved as much as you can as soon as you can. If you are looking for some basics regarding the rules of the game, basic strategy, or properly throwing a disc, please feel free to email us and we’ll answer any questions you may have.We hope you are enjoying your summer vacation. We are thrilled and excited to get to know you! Thank you again for your interest in our organization, we are looking forward to yet another productive year!
If you have any questions regarding our club or our members don’t be afraid to send an Email our way!

Hey team I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their first weeks back at school. First off just wanted to say how satisfied I am with our performance at SB Qualifier this past weekend. With only one practice under our belt on a half-sized field we managed to do hold our own and even beat UC-Berkeley B who eventually was ranked #1 in the pool at the end of the day. Awesome job guys.
Anyways here is a list of the upcoming tournaments for Winter Quarter.
January 26th-27th: Trouble in Vegas Qualifier, Las Vegas, NV
February 16th-18th: President’s Day Tournament UCSD, San Diego, CA
March 1st-2nd: San Luis Ultimate Tournament SLUT, San Luis Obispo, CA
March 15th-16th: St. Pats Hat, Encino, CA
A note on St.Pats Hat: we have decided to pass up Long Beach’s Ultimate Pyramadness UP for St. Pats Hat which is a big time Hat Tournament for the Los Angeles county area. In short anyone who plays Ultimate in Los Angeles and beyond will be there. It will be a great tournament experience for anyone who chooses to attend. So St. Pats Hat is not a college tournament but a HAT tournament in which you will submit your skill level and you will be put on a team accordingly for a weekend of Ultimate madness. For more information and to register for St. Pats Hat check out www.laout.org
Practices are still taking place in between the girls gym and tennis courts on the field from 7pm-9pm with pickup at 3pm on Fridays.
Any question or comments feel free to ask

Hey everybody, instead of practice at 3pm tomorrow we will be having a meeting instead at 7pm. We will be meeting at Vista Cafe which is at the suites and will probably move to a study room. The meeting will address various topics like SB Qualifier, the field situation, and anything else that needs to be discussed.
And yes it is possible that we can get pizza like we did last time!
See everyone tomorrow and enjoy your first day of Winter Quarter 08′ woot!
-Sunny
